Two passionate young women manage the organisation - Esmarie Robbertse is the Managing Director and Eugenie van den Heever is the Financial Director. They are assisted by a group of dynamic people. Together they form a focussed team aiming at delivering the highest standard of service both to clients and volunteers as well as organisations identified, leaving a mark of contribution and sustainability. Eugenie van den Heever Position in Firm: Director Esmarie Robbertse Position in Firm: Director I am an attorney who specializes in children's rights and family law. I studied at Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education at which institution I received my B Proc degree. I furthered my studies in completing an advanced diploma in International Child Law at the Vrije University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and master’s degree in Children's Rights at the University of Pretoria in June 2005. My passion in life is children because through their eyes you see the world differently. My wish is that each child (and volunteer) would discover his/her Godly purpose through Potato and be the CHANGE in their community. We are only the instrument to show them how much God loves them. What a privilege! "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did. BUT people will NEVER forget how you made them feel." Maya Angelou Landie Haasbroek Position in firm: Project Leader Email: projects@thepotatofoundation.co.za This past year I have been really amazed to see how Father God brings certain people together… I am Landie Haasbroek and I’m a proud mom of two beautiful girls. I believe that difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. I’m honoured to be part of the Potato Foundation’s team, where I’m currently the Project Leader and this past year has really been life-changing. It’s amazing to see how Father God uses the most unqualified, kind-hearted and loving people to make a difference in someone’s life. I love my work, I love the people I work with. I love to see how Father God just happens to send the right person along the way to help someone else. How beautiful friendships are formed where there once was just pain. As the Project Manager I see some hard and difficult lives, but the biggest blessing is to see how people care for one another. The Potato Foundation logo says the following: “encouraging expectations”, and I stand in awe at just how Father God provides for that expectations. |
